You are Monday, Thursday 你是星期一、星期四
still to come or past. 將到來或逝去的。
August plucked you 八月把你摘下
suddenly 突如其來
from its scarlet net, 從它鮮紅的網,
or June, 或是六月

when we least expected, 當我們最沒預料到的時候,
a flaming 一朵燎燒的
petal 花苞
bursting forth 炸了開來
in the middle 在冰寒的
of an icy week, 星期之中間,

you, a traveler, too, 你亦為旅人,
must travel, we must 必須旅行,我們必須
say good-bye, 道別,
but a drop 可是曾有一滴
of radiance, 光輝燦爛,
a grape 是幻想的太陽
of imaginary sun, 結成的葡萄,
has touched the blind blood 觸摸每個日子
of everyday, 其盲目的血,
we will cherish 我們會珍惜
the red spark 那火與仙饌
of fire and ambrosia, 之赤紅火花,
we will cherish 我們會珍惜
this insurgent day, 這叛亂的一日,
blazing, 熾烈燎燒
unforgettable, 無法遺忘,
a bright flame 有朵光燦的焰火
