Not too long ago I took my kid and a couple of my nieces to Disney's new California adventure park. It was just okay. You know, long lines and a couple of the best rides weren't running. Anyway, right as we are entering the park, a fan of the band comes up to me and asks for an autograph. I turned him down, telling him that I was, "on vacation." The real reason for why I turned him down was because I was with my daughter and nieces, and because when I'm with them I want them to be the celebrities. It
is for this same reason why I don't sign autographs when I'm with my kid at her school functions, extracurricular activities, or on our rare times together in between tours. I especially want her to be able to have a relatively normal time at school, and, in my eyes at least, she is the star there. So if I ever shut any of you down for an autograph, like I did to Greg L. that day at Disney, please accept my apologies
