首先先看這篇新聞 http://technews.tw/2015/10/08/apple-a9-tsmc-vs-samsung/ 網友實測，台積電版 A9 續航力比三星多 2 小時蘋果（Apple Inc.）iPhone 6s / 6s Plus 內建的 A9 處理器有採用 16 奈米製程的台積電版本、14 奈米製程的三星電子（Samsung Electronics Co.）版本，原本市場認為 14 奈米製程的三星版 A9 表現應該會比 16 奈米佳，但網友實測結果卻正好相反。日前已有跑分顯示內建台積電版 A9 的 iPhone 跑分優於三星版，而根據國外網友最新的測試結果，台積電版 iPhone 的電池續航力比三星版多出大約 2 小時。國外網友 raydizzle 6 日在社群網站 Reddit 的貼文指出，依據機器效能測試軟體 Geekbench 3 的電池續航力測驗結果，發現台積電版 iPhone 的續航力為 7 小時 50 分、電池評測得分為 4,703 分，而三星版的續航力則僅有 6 小時 5 分、電池評測得分為 3,653 分。該名網友特地跑了數次測試軟體，結果都差不多，即台積電版的電池續航力比三星版多兩小時左右。 MacRumors 7 日報導，Geekbench 開發商 Primate Labs 的創辦人在接受專訪時表示，市場原本就有謠言直指台積電 16 奈米 A9 的省電效能優於三星 14 奈米版，但差距如此之大仍令他感到驚訝，因為 iPhone 的其他零組件的效能測試評分基本上完全相同。（本文由 MoneyDJ新聞授權轉載） ---- 再来看primatelabs 創辦人，geekbench開發者 John Poole 提供電池電力的分佈圖拿22支 6s 跑出来的電力分佈圖呈兩級化 http://imgur.com/hLQNkUQ

Without orders for 16nm process chips from other companies to replace the shortfall from Apple, TSMC might have to reduce production from 30,000 wafers a month using the 16nm FinFET process, to fewer than 20,000 wafers. 台積電不幹訂單被減量 For months, we have heard conflicting reports over which company will be producing the lion's share of A9 chips. Back in April, the rumor at that time had Samsung and GlobalFoundries producing all of the A9 chipsets with TSMC getting shut out. That apparently was not true. In June, a report from China had TSMC ramping up mass production of the A9.
