Government Information Office seeks
Full-time Chinese-English Translator / English Editor
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Native speaker of English
Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in journalism, Asian studies,
political science, economics or literature)
Competence in Chinese-to-English translation
Excellent English writing and editing skills
Ability to work overtime and under strict deadlines
Experience in translating / writing / editing a plus
Familiarity with Taiwan-related affairs a plus

(including expected monthly salary range and contact information).
Additionally, if possible, send two writing samples (preferably of materials
published under your name with dateline) and references.
Only short-listed candidates will be invited (via telephone and email) to
take a competitive written test and attend an oral interview. Application
materials will not be returned.
