人在華納集團二十餘年的薩克司風手Boney James(不是Boney M喔)
近兩張專輯都很有質感
01年的Ride與Dave Hollister,Trina Broussard合作
04年的Pure與Bilal,Dwele,Joe Sample,Debi Nova合作
深受小葛洛佛華盛頓影響的James
想當然的在他的Smooth Jazz中融入了許多黑人音樂因子
純演奏的專輯吸引不了流行樂界的閱聽大眾
光看CD封底的featuring person就夠讓人興奮了
Bilal的演出實在太令人感動啦
Pure裡的Better With Time是一定要聽的
Dwele的Break Of Dawn則是另一種氛圍
陰鬱的sax與長吟的Dwele兩種樂器共和出了不起的篇章
實在太懷念Bilal和期待Some Kinda了
忍不住又從架上將Pure拿下
然後
又是一陣勾染失眠的夜襲......
