[情報] 想減肥卻沒空運動?研究:騎單車通勤最好
根據一項對英國15多萬名40歲以上通勤族所做的調查,騎單車與走路通勤,減重效果最好
,即使是搭公車或火車,都有助瘦身,最糟的是全程開車上下班。
研究人員對7萬2999名男性及8萬3667名女性,對他們的體重及生活型態進行比較,研究顯
示,騎單車及走路通勤的人,減重的成效最好。
報告指出,即使已將休閒活動、運動、飲食、職業等因素都列入考慮,通勤方式與體重的
關連性仍相同,騎單車與走路的距離愈遠,體脂肪可以減少更多。
報告進一步指出,每天騎單車通勤的男性比開車通勤的人平均可以少5公斤,女性則可以
減4.4公斤。
在研究的樣本中,64%的男性及61%的女性都是開車上班,只有4%的男性及2%的女性騎單車
或是搭配走路上班。
負責這項研究的倫敦大學衛生暨熱帶醫學院(London School of Hygiene and Tropical
Medicine)佛林特博士(Ellen Flint)指出,大家都了解體能活動有助預防肥胖,但英
國2/3的民眾每週運動量未達到建議的量。
這項研究顯示,那些在通勤過程中有體能活動的人,即使只是走路到公車站牌,或只是騎
一小段的單車到公司,他們的體重比全程開車通勤的人輕,體脂肪也較低。
她建議決策者建構居住的城市和鄉鎮,應更適合居民騎車或走路上班,不僅有益大眾健康
也環保,是雙贏的做法。
這項研究報告公布在醫學雜誌「刺胳針糖尿病與內分泌學期刊」(Lancet Diabetes and
