1. 球鞋要輕
2. 球鞋要能吸收衝擊力。除了大家熟知的氣墊, 還有鞋中底和鞋墊也是值得注意的地方
3. 鞋外底的止滑力也很重要
4. 「研究發現,例如穿著長筒鞋又有貼紮,
比沒穿著短統鞋而沒有貼紮猶不易扭傷(賴金鑫,1993)」
「高筒(幫)球鞋目的在保護腳踝關節;以籃球選手來說這是相當重要的,
這就有如很多選手未穿襪以前,先以彈繃做貼紮再穿上長筒球鞋的保護道理一樣。
短筒球鞋呢,就1984年美國奧運男子籃球隊體能訓練員Tim Garl解釋,
籃球選手在從事單純體能訓練時候,應該儘量以短筒球鞋,
甚至建議以田徑慢跑鞋操作較適宜;他認為單純的速耐力、速度訓練或者跳的練習、
甚至重量訓練等,穿著長筒的籃球鞋都顯得非常不方便,
這是關球鞋長、短筒的差異地方。」
5. 「以我這一大把年紀來說,最近這十年內一直都不敢在水泥地打球」
6. 「穿著兩雙襪可以預防起水泡、繭;
裡面的襪子較薄、較短,外面再穿上長、厚襪,
讓足部因運動而引起磨擦力,集中在兩層襪子之間。」
「正確的應該穿著是兩雙襪子;裡頭穿絲質含量較高之襪,外頭穿純棉襪」
毛棉襪較絲襪易吸汗
7. 球鞋大小應該適切 傍晚試穿最佳。
楦頭太窄 台灣人較歐美人士腳寬 應審慎挑選球鞋。
8. 後衛前鋒鞋多半在鞋子前半有鞋墊 以減少急停造成的傷害
現在的鞋子就算沒鞋墊 也可能有耐衝擊效果
9. 球鞋有分室外鞋和室內鞋
