原文：
We are far behind the schedule this semester. It is only three classes
away from the end of the semester, but we have just finished the ARM
part. I figure that it is not realistic to assign project#4 next week
and it is almost impossible to have it due before the final exam week.
Therefore, I would like to do the following adjustments for the course.
1. You have a 1-week extension for your project#3. It is now due on
12/26. I am truly sorry for those who started earlier if the extension
disturbs your schedule.
2. Project #4 on x86 is cancelled. We will not have an assignment on
x86. Thus, I encourage you to work on x86 for your final project to
balance your skills on different architectures. In addition, it can be
used as a bonus for those who will potentially fail the course. That is,
if you have ever missed any homework or exam, you could still pass by
submitting it (if you are not too far away). Note that it is only for
passing the course. Submitting it will not increase your grade if you
are already in safe positions.
3. Because of the cancellation, the grading is adjusted as the
following, assignments 48% (16% each), midterm (20%), and final project
(27%) participation (5%).
Sorry for the late adjustments and being behind the schedule.
