因為要考IELTS只好放上圖片
因為是solution 非必要請問下載服用
我知道我不可以po純解答
但是我已經說好了 一定要做
我今次把步驟寫得很詳細
有人不知道Gamma是甚麼
Gamma是一個像得跟Y很像的符號
名詞解釋:
zero-momentum reference frame
zero-momentum frame of a system is any inertial frame in which
the centre of mass is at rest (has zero velocity).
你相對mass centre的速度 = 0
so the velocities of two protons are equal in magnitude,
but opposite in direction.
所要把兩顆proton想成同等速度 (equal in magnitude, but opposite in direction)
所以他們的Gamma 也會一樣.(in zero-momentum reference frame)
最後一題 也是要先用zero-mementum reference frame 去計算
不然只可以用conservation of enegry 和 conservation of momentum
如下
Gamma' * M * c^2 = Gamma1 * m * c^2 + Gamma2 * m * c^2
Gamma' * M * V = Gamma1 * m * v1 + Gamma2 * m * v2
where Gamma' = (1 - (V/c)^2) ^ -1/2
Gamma1 = (1 - (v1/c)^2) ^ -1/2
Gamma2 = (1 - (v2/c)^2) ^ -1/2
V is velocity of M, v1, v2 are velocities of two decay product.
不要嘗試去降以上方程
但以上可以驗算
把答案計算出來 再代入以上方程
你會發現會完全一樣
在 M 的reference frame:
conservation of energy: Gamma' * M * C^2 = 2 Gamma m * C^2
為什麼是2 * Gamma * m * c^2 而不是 Gamma * m * C^2呢?
因為有兩個decay product
According to conservation of momentum their velocities are equal but in
opposite direction.
所以他們的 Gamma 他會一樣
因為在M 的refernece frame, M 是不會動的 so Gamma' = 1
M = 0.3m (given)
so:
1/0.3 * m * c^2 = 2 * Gamma * m * c^2
把m的速度計算出來 (先當成 u')
再把M在laboratory reference frame 的速度計算出來 (當成v好了)
因為 m 相對 M 的速度是 u' M相對我們是v
用transformation of velocity 計算出m相對我們的速度

計算到最後得到 t2' - t1' > Gamma * D * ((c-v)/c^2) > 0
=> t2' - t1' > 0 , t2' > t1'
