[北美] [O1A]改變簽證面試地點
大家好
有個疑問想聽聽大家的意見
我目前已經收到I-797B正本
但因為當初I-129上填寫的consulate的最快可面試時間需要到至少兩個月之後
所以決定回台灣的AIT進行簽證面試
之前有問過我的律師我是否能回台灣進行簽證面試
他回答
“If you would like to travel to Taiwan to obtain your O-1 visa stamp followin
g approval of the petition that is acceptable from a U.S. immigration point of
view as all U.S. Consulates share the same electronic system necessary to ver
ify the contents/approval of the filing.”
但I-797B上又提到如果
“If circumstances change, the petitioner can file Form I-824 to have us notif
y another consulate of this approval.”

則是提到I-797B上的conaulate是基於I-129所給出的建議
但是可以在任何的consulate進行面試
所以目前滿疑惑到底能不能前往不同於表單上的consulate面試？
