Odom has torn labrum
Very bad news for the Lakers regarding Lamar Odom's shoulder: He has a torn
labrum, which is the injury that ended his season prematurely in 2005 --
and could now again.
Odom had an MRI that revealed the damage, but he'll see Angels team doctor
Lewis Yocum on Monday to get a thorough analysis of his option. Odom could
try to heal without surgery, but the Lakers aren't sure what course of
action will be taken until consulting with Yocum.
Odom will at the very least not be playing on the road trip this week, but
he'll surely miss more time than that.
