What do Rasheed Wallace, Kevin Garnett and Ricky Davis have in common? They
all rank among the NBA's leaders in technical fouls.

Wallace, who on Saturday became the first NBA player suspended this season
for too many technicals, is known for his outbursts through the years, and
his name has almost become synonymous with unruly behavior toward officials.

But Garnett and Davis don't have those reputations. Still, Davis had nine
technicals as of Feb. 21, the most recent time the NBA published its list of
leaders. Garnett had eight.

That's still a long way from an automatic one-game suspension, which occurs
after a player incurs his 16th technical. Every technical after the 16th
(starting with the 18th) also draws a one-game suspension.

starter the first 50 games of the season to a reserve with a limited role.

the offense has been an up-and-down thing."

Briefly: Wolves rookie Randy Foye said his misdemeanor charge of disorderly
conduct stemming from a fight Feb. 12 outside a Minneapolis gas station was
dismissed. Police cited Foye, and a member of his family was arrested, in the
incident. Foye had maintained he was not involved in the fight, which he
described as a scuffle between a couple of family members.

‧ Forward Mark Madsen played just three minutes Friday night against the
Miami Heat. But Wittman said that limited playing time was due more to
matchups and style of play than the fact it was Madsen's first game back from
a sprained left ankle. Madsen did pick up three fouls in his limited time.
