: for leaving the bench in the same game.

: effort for much of that.

: "Randy drew up a beautiful game plan, and we stuck to it and won,'' said
: Garnett, who sought out Wittman after the final buzzer to give him a smack in
: the chest and a hug. "I just told him, 'Great job tonight.' "

: Wittman felt compelled to leave Garnett on the floor the entire 24 minutes —
: caught between the desire to rest him for a minute or two at a time and the
: fear of upsetting the Wolves' second-half flow.
: "He looked at me at the eight-minute mark and said, 'Can you finish?' ''
: Garnett said. "My workouts are for this. I'm not going to say I'm some kind
: of ironman or damn robot, but it's mind over matter sometimes.''
: Wittman's pregame plan did include an emphasis on shutting down the inside,
: in particular the Suns' penetration.
: The result? After 24 points in the paint by the Suns in the first half, on
: the way to an eight-point halftime lead, they scored just six inside in the
: second half — none in the fourth quarter.
雖然球賽的計畫並沒有特別包括Garnett的29次出手與44分，
