The Timberwolves could have the rookie of the year
in Randy Foye, if he can adapt to the NBA game quickly, he and Kevin Garnett
could be a scary proposition – the problem is will he get minutes behind
Mike James? There is always the chance he’ll play with Mike James, so where
doe that put Ricky Davis? If Davis plays the three spot where does that leave
Eddie Griffin – no DVD jokes necessary – So those are the questions
training camp has to answer. The Wolves have quietly assembled some depth and
some core young players to build around Kevin Garnett, the only fear has to
be will Kevin opt out next summer and pursue free agency, and if that threat
becomes real, when do the Wolves pull the trigger on a trade? The Wolves are
definitely worth watching, if only to say you saw Kevin’s last season as a
timberwolf.
