McHale: Wolves not far away
K.McHale說"灰狼的實力其實不像表面上那麼差。"
The Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns and Detroit Pistons are in
the NBA semifinals, while the Timberwolves failed to make the playoffs for
the second consecutive year. But Wolves vice president Kevin McHale said
Tuesday his team isn't as far from contention as some people might think.
邁阿密熱火、底特律活塞，達拉斯小牛及鳳凰城太陽正分別在東、西區冠軍賽中捉對
廝殺，而灰狼卻是連續第二年未能晉級季後賽。但灰狼副總裁McHale星期二時表示他的球
隊其實並不像人們認為的那麼缺乏競爭力。
"I don't see a big chasm," McHale said after working out a handful of
potential second-round draft picks at Target Center. "You can make some
big strides in our league very quickly by adding a player or two or three.
All of the teams still playing right now have holes and weaknesses like all
teams do. There is no perfect team or perfect player."
在主場標靶中心測試了幾位在選秀會第二輪可能挑選的新秀後，McHale說"我沒看到什
麼無藥可救的大問題，在這個聯盟裡，也許球隊增加了一個、兩個或三個球員，戰績就可

McHale, who has a handshake deal with owner Glen Taylor, reiterated that
both Kevins — himself and star player Kevin Garnett — will be with the
Wolves when next season begins.
和老闆G.Taylor握手達成口頭協議的McHale一再強調兩個Kevin - 包括他自己以及狼
王KG - 明年開季時都還會待在灰狼陣中。
