[心得] 令人大失所望的夢幻下午茶!【給東方文華的客訴信】

在這麼古典優雅的地方用餐 想必要付出一些代價
一份英式下午茶外加單點熱茶就燒掉我們1506B
這錢到底花的值不值得
上一篇文有提到我們是被"強迫結帳"的 感覺非常差
就從剛踏進The Author's Lounge 說起吧!
下午三點40抵達用餐區 滿滿的人潮 很顯然沒有空位
服務人員非常忙碌 我們就站在中庭沒有人理會我們
因為第一次去 不知道該自己找位子?或在哪候位?
於是隨便問了一位正在忙碌的服務員
她告訴我們目前沒有位子 需要等其他人離開 要不要改天在來?人就離開了
( 心中os~怎麼可能改天!!!我都特地來了耶!!! )
剛剛那服務員又經過 我們再次問她 可否在這等待空位?答案是肯定的
4點整 很幸運的有空位
因為menu超厚一本加上我英文不好 研究了五分鐘才點餐
點完餐 原本以為可以靜靜的享受得來不易的悠閒時光
沒想到 附近有約五桌都是台灣人 講話音量都超大聲
有的批評哥哥女友 有的在罵婆婆 我真的很不想到聽這些...(太大聲了)
還有更誇張的是兩個家庭 穿T恤短褲 腰掛霹靂腰包 穿crocs拖鞋就到五星級飯店
大人顧聊天 就讓小孩們在優雅的中庭嘻鬧奔跑
小孩們不時在我座位旁的鮮花拱門邊打滾、尖叫、追逐
夢幻午茶 氣氛正式宣告幻滅

4點20分 我們的餐點上桌 兩個人很興奮開始拍照
此時服務員過來跟我說 用餐時間只剩10分鐘 必須在4:30離開 人就走了
聽到這消息 感覺很莫名其妙 明明下午茶時間就是到六點呀?
於是再次詢問服務員 確定是到4:30沒錯
4:40服務員直接送帳單到每一桌 並跟我們說必須離開了 時間也已經超過十分鐘
聽到她說"而且時間已經超過十分鐘"感覺真的非常差!
進一步詢問她才解釋 因為婚宴包場所以今天只開放到4:30
飯店如果必須提前清場 應該在客人還未消費前就該說明 怎麼會在送餐後告知!?
20分鐘的午茶時光 簡直就是用茶在吞蛋糕 吃不出滋味
從頭到尾服務生都在忙著收拾東西 根本沒服務到我們
吃個東西狼吞虎嚥 還要擔心會被趕離開現場 心情大受影響
(↓下圖 ~東西剛送上 員工已經在搬後方的鋼琴 搬到後來連附近桌椅都搬光了 )
本來滿心期待要來享受旅遊書及雜誌大推的夢幻下午茶
沒想到 花了一千多塊 卻換來半小時極差的用餐經驗 真的非常不?得
回台灣後 豬寶貝還是很在意這件事 於是自己寫了一封mail去反應當天狀況
以下是雙方往返信件
On 20**/*/** we went to your grand hotel to have an afternoon tea
however, it is a very uncomfortable experience
when we arrived the Author's Lounge, stood for 1 min, nobody came, you were too "busy"
we didn't know how to order the tea, I didn't want to wait
So I went to ask a "busy" waitress, she said we have to wait until somebody leave
fine, no problem
finally we got a seat, ordered the tea, and relax
and about 16:10 a waitress(looks like leader)came and told us unfriendly:
"You have to leave before 16:30", then she just leave, didn't say the reason
This act was so rude and broke our good mood
we feel very uncomfortable and disappointed on your service
and then she put the bill on our desk, even we didn't ask for it
after we realized that day was the wedding for somebody and they booked this place for it
As you know
there are many 5star hotel in Bangkok
I have many choices
and I will tell all my friend this uncomfortable experience
also I will post on my blog
I just want to tell you..
you let me disappoint

I was extremely concerned to learn of your disappointing and no doubt frustrating visit to Mandarin Oriental, during your recent trip to Bangkok.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the situation was handled inappropriately, for which I trust you will accept my most sincere apologies.
You have my assurance that I take this matter extremely seriously and have already reviewed what occurred with the department head and staff concerned, to ensure our approach is more sensitive, sensible and accommodating in future.
I am extremely conscious of the negative impression created and the damage done to the status of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. I sincerely regret that we have marred your impression of this hotel.

她們也提供了不錯的補償方式 當然沒有到住宿一睌總統套房啦!
話說回來 我們要的不是補償 只是想讓對方知道消費者的心聲而已
離開飯店 搭上船 欣賞著河畔風景放掉不愉快
因為我知道下一站會很美
