On Saturday night (21 May) Mark Haynes, a beat reporter covering the Golden Stat
e Warriors, appeared to anger a number of Golden State Warriors fans during a po
dcast.
週六晚上(5月21日)，報導金州勇士隊的記者Mark Haynes在播客中激怒了一些勇士隊的球迷
。
During a Twitter Spaces, Haynes appeared to imply Warriors superstar Steph Curry
was ‘front-running’ – only playing well and celebrating when his team was in
the lead – at the end of Game 2 vs the Mavericks in the Western Conference Fin
als.
Haynes在推特的語音聊天室裡暗示Curry就是一個順風球員，只有在球隊領先的時候才能打
的好。
Whatever he said, his comments angered some Warriors fans and a number of Mark H
aynes’ tweets began to resurface.Deadspinreports the resurfaced posts “invol
ved a number of inappropriate tweets that cover homophobia,racial slander and s
exism”.
他的評論激怒了一些勇士隊的球迷，Mark Haynes過去的舊推文開始一一被挖出來，其中不
少涉及歧視同性戀和種族歧視。
Following the backlash, Clutch Points, one of Haynes’ employers, released a sta
tement.
在經歷這場風波以後，Haynes的雇主之一Clutch Points發表了以下的聲明

Clutch Points在聲明中表示，Mark Haynes的言論是難以置信也不可原諒的，也不符合Clut
ch Points的價值觀。 Clutch Point對此類問題將會採取零容忍的態度，Mark Haynes將會
被無限期停職。 在停職期間，Mark Haynes將會努力修正自己的錯誤。
