Several teams have asked the NBA to consider changes to qualifying for the Nos.
9 and 10 seeds, per Marc Stein of the Stein Line.
Stein表示已經有一些球隊請求聯盟考慮更改9號和10號種子參加附加賽的相關資格。
Namely, per Stein, teams would like to see the Nos. 9 and 10 seeds have to finis
h the regular season within a certain distance of the No. 8 seed in order to tak
e part in play-in games.
這些球隊希望看到規則改成9和10號種子與第8名的戰績保持在一定差距內，才能參加附加賽
。
As of now, the final record of the two lower seeds in the play-in tournament doe
sn’t matter. They are in regardless.
就目前而言，第九、第十種子在例行賽中的最終戰績並不重要，無論差距多大都可以參加附
加賽。
This season, the No. 8 seed in each conference failed to qualify for the playoff
s, as the Cavaliers (East) and Clippers (West) each lost both of their play-in g
ames.
本賽季，由於騎士和快艇都分別輸掉了他們的兩場附加賽，東西區的8號種子都無緣季後賽
。
Out West, the ninth-seeded Pelicans finished 36-46, or six games worse than the
Clippers. And at 34-48, the 10th-seeded Spurs finished eight games behind LA.

It is unclear if the league intends to make any changes to the format for next s
eason, though commissioner Adam Silver and the competition committee have genera
lly been open to such dialogue.
