穆雷:我可能會失去NO.1寶座 目標衛冕溫網冠軍
北京時間6月15日消息,穆雷上賽季憑藉強勢的表現登上了世界第一的寶座,但進入新
賽季後他便陷入了長期的低迷,戰績不佳也導致他損失了大量的積分,近日接受採訪時他
表示自己接受可能失去王座的現實,但真正給予他前進動力的是冠軍獎盃而不是積分。
“我很可能要失去世界第一的位置了。”穆雷談道。“如果你想守住世界第一的位置
,你就不能像我之前那樣在長達三個月的時間裡在大賽中都沒有好的表現。所以這很可能
會發生,但沒關係。我努力贏得溫網冠軍不是為了積分,只是想要贏得冠軍而已,這是我
的目標。”
目前穆雷仍領先世界第二的納達爾2605個積分,但他在後面的比賽中都有著巨大的保分
壓力,而納達爾和費德勒正在對他的位置發起有力的衝擊。
穆雷本周開始在女王俱樂部和溫布林頓進行嚴格的訓練,為接下來的草地賽季做好準
備。“我現在距離自己想要的狀態還差很遠,這就是為什麼我在離開巴黎後迅速投入訓練
的原因。”
近日,英國草地網球協會進行了較大的人員調整,將由前英國大衛斯杯隊長David
Lloyd的兒子Scott Lloyd頂替加拿大人Michael Downey擔任首席執行官的職務。對此,兩
屆溫網冠軍穆雷表示支持。
“我們網球圈的領導發生過多次調整,如果是一個圈外人來接受的話,每次新上任的
人都需要七八個月的時間才能理解我們這項運動,這感覺有些浪費時間。”穆雷談道。“
所以有一個熟悉我們這項運動,並且對他日後可能需要打交道的人相互熟識的人來擔任這
個職務是件好事。”
