2016 Dow Chemical Taiwan Marketing Development Program (MDP)
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a graduate for an exciting career in marketing for one of Dow’
s business. This role is within the Commercial function, managing our
business activity and relationship with our customers.
Initially, you will go through a 18 months development program within Dow
Chemical Commercial Support of intense and structured training with
rotational, hands-on assignment which will provide you with corporate
orientation and the practical skills in order to fulfil your future role and
maximise your career potential.
TRAINING PROGRAM STRUCTURE
‧ Building marketing capabilities and transactional skills
‧ Technical knowledge of markets and applications within the assigned
business
‧ Job shadowing in technical, logistic, sales, customer service and all
related functions
‧ Customer visits with experienced marketing and sales person
‧ Assuming marketing responsibilities on project assignment exploring growth
opportunities for Dow business
JOB LOCATION
Position is available in Taoyuan and Taipei
QUALIFICATIONS
You will have recently completed a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering,
Chemistry, Science, Marketing or Business Administration. If you have a
technical major you will have a strong interest in using your technical
knowledge to develop your commercial skills. For business majors you will
have the drive and passion to gain knowledge and understanding of technical
marketing and sales.

‧ Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communications skills
