[解題] 文法題目a大大的問題
這是某版友問的題目，我想大家應該都需要，一樣本著助人為快樂之本（雖然我不快樂）
的精神，分享給大家：

(A) in
(B) and
(C) yet
(D) which
ANS:(A)
evaluate不是及物動詞嗎 為何後面還加介系詞in?
還有我看不懂這題的句型結構
one of the criteria the committee will <--這邊實在太奇怪了

其實文法的最基本就是要懂得分析句構，所以我先解你第二個問題：
The design of the proposed project is one of the criteria [(which) the
committee will evaluate in determing the recipient of the state grant].
簡單說就是the committee前面省略了which。
然後動詞的及物或不及物其實在許多情況之下兩個可以並存，比如說：
kill (vt) 殺 (vi) 屠殺（的行為）
所以我不建議這題用vt或vi的方式解，其實看到空格後接Ｖing，我就直接選in了。
*. 介詞+N/Ving <--這觀念很基本，不過我在板上發現很多人都會忽略到（囧
(B) 對等連接詞前後詞性一致
(C) yet副詞兩個意思:1. 尚未 2. 然而
當對等連接詞等於but
(D) 關代which有連接詞功用，除非比較特殊句構後面會接to Vr，否則一定要接句子；
不過要注意關代後面要接缺少Ｓ或Ｏ的句子（噢，當然有一種例外狀況，但是不提）
Ex. I love the woman [who cooks well]. 少Ｓ
Ex. I love the woman [who he also likes]. 少Ｏ
噢！注意關代前面要有Ｎ當先行詞噢，所以這題(D)也不可能。
然後正統文法解法應該如以下：
剛剛有提到：關代後面要接缺少Ｓ或Ｏ的句子，所以你這題目因為有關代被省略：
The design of the proposed project of one of the criteria [(which) the
committee will evaluate ___ determining the recipient of the state grant].
這裡的evaluate確實是vt，不過因為有which的關係，這裡要少Ｏ（其實就是先行詞
one of the criteria啦），所以evaluate就不接受詞了。
多半來說介詞in如果沒跟其他動詞形成片語而單獨出現，多半翻譯作「當」，意思跟
when一樣，不過用法還是不一樣。
