小弟又休假了 趁這個機會想要再來請教各位一些英文問題 這次積的比較多 希望各位可以不吝指點 一樣都是出自於「新TOEIC必考單字600」一書 1.[出自Lesson22，單字12的例句2] The overseas branch has much lower employee turnover than does domestic operations. 這我可以理解這句話的意思 但是想問的是，不知道可不可以將dose放至句尾呢?? 還是說這種句型一定要這樣弄呢?? 2.[出自Lesson25，Word Families-detail] The budget report needs to be accurate down to the last detail. 這裡主要是down我無法找到一個比較適合用在句子裡的翻譯 感覺應該要是一個pp，可是我查了down的動詞用法 似乎兜不太起來 3.[出自Lesson25，Word Families-realistic] The accountant needs realistic numbers on which to base his plan. 想請問這句話的原型是否為 The accountant needs realistic numbers which to base his plan on. 4.[出自Lesson36-40，Word Review#8，第1題] When _______ your luggage, be sure to check the name on the bag. (A)claim (B)claimed (C)claimant (D)caliming 解答為D，想請問不能選擇A的原因是? 另外，若根據解答所指引，將這句句子重新排列，將when子句後置 是否應該寫為 Being sure to check the name on the bag when claim your luggage. 5.[出自Lesson45，Word Families-choosy] The editor was famous for being choosy about whom she wanted on her staff. 這裡的whom，是用來接受be choosy about的嗎? 以上五個問題 希望大家不吝指教 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 111.184.163.181
