一、許多男人的噩夢，現在掉髮已經越來越普遍了，不過，科學家發現老鼠身上可長出毛
髮來。
二、內文
HELP may finally be at hand for the millions who suffer the misery of
stress-related hair loss – in the shape of a daily injection. Tests on mice
showed that hair loss can be caused by the over- production of the stress
hormone corticotropin-releasing factor, or CRF.
三、多益英檢文法整理:
1.accidentally(adv):偶然地，suffer(V):受苦，cure(N):醫治，hair loss:掉髮，
misery(N):悲慘，stress(N):壓力，in the shape of:以...形式，injection(N):注射，
mice(N):老鼠，hormone(N):賀爾蒙，corticotropin(N):促腎上腺皮質激素，factor(N):
因子、要素。
2.這裡指出科學實驗後，以injection(注射)的形式(in the shape of)，in the shape翻
作利用...形式，其他的英語還有 in the cause of(為了)、in the light of (鑒於)、
in the control of (以....控制)。
3. hair loss是指"掉髮"或稱bald(禿頭)，hairline(髮際線)receding(後退)就有可能是
禿頭，有些人則是balding from the top of head(地中海禿)，最後有可能就是fully
balding。但是不管是掉髮或loss(虧損)，沒有人喜歡見到這樣結局。例如:The company
has announced the net loss of 1.5 million last quarter.(公司宣布上一季淨虧損達
150萬美金。)
