托福8月份的4場考試，總共出現了12篇文章，其閱讀題目和主題分布如以下：

The Sahara Desert and the Nile River -- 地質學

The Plow and the Horse in the Medieval Europe -- 歷史
Germany Industrialization and Railway -- 歷史

How did first people get to the interior of North America? -- 考古
The Origin of Flight of Birds -- 生物
How did Earth's ocean emerge? -- 地質
8/27
The Cambrian Explosion -- 考古
The Population and Economy in the 16th-century Europe -- 歷史
The Methane and the PETM -- 科學
透過分析資料，我們可以清楚看到8月份考試，「歷史」主題12篇就佔了5篇
出題率將近5成，幾乎每一場考試都有1~2篇！
