1. De facto (adv. adj) = in reality, in fact
(例) Though his kingship is challenge, he continue to rule de facto.
(例) Shanghai is rapidly becoming the de facto financial center of the world.
2. In situ 使到位; 在原來的地方
(例) They want their new CEO in situ (使到位) ASAP.
3. vis-a-vis (法) 相對於; 面對面 (=in relation to=in comparison with)
(例) Their research is directed at understanding the advantages of working in
groups vis-a-vis working individually.
4. inter alia (=in particular = among other things = among other matters)
(例) Most small island developing States face serious challenges of land
degradation as a result, inter alia, of inappropriate land use and poor
irrigation management systems.
(例) The committee recommended, inter alia, that he be promoted.
