第五小題先容po個那段落的節錄 The first wells were drilled into the Ogallala during the drought years of the early 1930’s. The ensuing rapid expansion of irrigation agriculture, especially from the 1950’s onward, transformed the economy of the region. More than 100,000 wells now tap the Ogallala. Modern irrigation devices, each capable of spraying 4.5 million liters of water a day, have produced a landscape dominated by geometric patterns of circular green islands of crops. Ogallala water has enabled the High Plains region to supply significant amounts of the cotton, sorghum, wheat, and corn grown in the United States. In addition, 40 percent of American grain-fed beef cattle are fattened here. 這題問說 why does the author provide the information that 40 percent of American cattle are fattened in the High Plains? 2.To indicate that not all economic activity in the High Plains is dependent on irrigation 3.To provide another example of how water from the Ogallala has transformed the economy of the High Plains 答案是3. 可是我選了2. 我的理由是 3.的文意是說 "提供另外一個關於Ogallala的水變成High Plains的經濟一部分" 所以3的選項被我刪了相對來講我選的2就合理多了阿提完農業再提牧業各位看官你說我是不是很有理阿有人可以幫我解答一下嗎 ------------------------------------------------------ 再問一個句子的文法從cambridge閱讀Test3中第一大題節錄的 Such heat would destroy any life-forms lucky enough to have survived to this point. 我想問的是從life-forms 後面 lucky開始就是受詞補語(OC)嗎？因為我一直看不懂這句的文法為什麼life-forms後面不加 which is ---------------------------------------------------------- 最後一個我想要取暖一下我做黃金29篇從第10篇開始都會錯4-6題耶我爬文看人家都說黃金29超簡單那是代表我程度很差嗎閱讀到底要怎麼進步.....教教我 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.229.17.225
