In one of those games,he allowed back-to-back-to-back home runs
against the Blue Jays.
No Yankees pitcher had matched that dubious feat since then.
Until Sunday.that is.
Johnson allowesd three consecutive solo home runs in the fourth inning,
then a three-run shot just three batters later,as the White Sox salvaged
the finale of the three-game series with a 6-2 victory over the Yankees.
"I wascruising along in the first three innings,I gelt great
and was executing my pitches."
Johnson said."I don't have an explanation for it."
The loss droppes the Yankees four games behind the Red Sox in the American
League East though they remain just a half-hame behind the
A's in the Wild Cars standings.
