I understand why: I'm a sucker for origin stories. Little did I know then that X-Men is only an origin story up to a point. Obviously, having grown up with the Marvel comic books, I knew that there was more to the story to be told, but the X-Men trilogy was unique at the time because it had the ensemble of heroes. However, it became clear that one hero stood out from the rest, and now he's getting another origin story, pre-X-Men, meaning Wolverine now has two backstories. Hugh Jackman returns and he's joined by a pack of really talented actors including Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, and Ryan Reynolds. Plus, the Comic Con trailer (heavily bootlegged; we'll get the crisp and clean version later) does more than most teasers. There's plenty of action, plenty of setup, and plenty of Logan.
