[學友] [台中] 英文口說讀書會(中興)(暫滿)
If you are interested in participating this study group, please send a
self-introduction mail to my ptt account. (background and what you wanna
gain from this group)
However, be sure you possess the basic English speaking skill.
We are lookinf forward to correcting grammar/pronunciation error and sentence
structure via discussion. And everyone is required to deliver a short speech
before discussion section every week.
This new studygroup will be founded in small size to maintain the discussion
quality.
Currently members in our studygroup are all NCHU students.
1.自介：Graduate student in business college in NCHU.
I am looking forward to advance my English and critical thinking.
This new studygroup will be founded in small size to maintain the
discussion quality. Our target is not only speaking fluently, but
logically.
2.對象: People who are highly interested in improving his/her English ability.
3.目標: (1) Logical and critical thinking in English
(2) Adhering to the current issue (Ex. The Philippine navy attack)
(3) Gramar correcting in speaking
(4) Using new vocabularies in speaking
4.原因: (1) I prefer to brainstorming than just chit chatting.
(2) English articles will be referred to weekly reading.
(3) Most of the time people don't correct your grammar error if they
understand it. My idea is that we should correct member's grammar
error immediately, so that the problem will be fixed. Fixing
sentence structure will be further goal.
(4) I take this target as the biggest challenge, and look forward any
solution. (According to my experience, it is pretty difficult to
use new vocabularies you just learn in speaking)
5.地點: Nearby NCHU, I will tell you later.
6.時間: Once a week, mostlt on weekend.
7.方式: Group discussion. Debating, speech, and any other sufficient method
could be the options.
8.範圍: English article are recoomended to be weekly material. I really look
forward to discussing issues like business, technology, economical,
and international affairs. Any other intersting topic is welcome as
well. Therefore, things like your hobby, your favorite, romance are
not welcome.
9.人數限制: around 6.
10.解散條件: Insufficient.
11.運作規則: Every participant is required to host the meeting by turn. Host
has to pick up a subject and related article before meeting, so
other member could read and prepare in advance. On the meeting,
the host has to raise question to rotate the discussion.
