1. 自介：I'm Wayne who currently work as a business development researcher in
a start-up, StorySense which was founded by an MIT Media lab grad.
I've graduated from NTU as a EE bachelor and have joined the group for
one year.
2. 對象：The group opens to who already has conversational English ability
while wanna improve him/herself to native speaker level which is
the ultimate goals all the group members keep working on to achieve.
3. 目標：To learn English by mutual support and enhance self-motivation on
improving English skillsets
4. 原因：We all intend to make constant progress in our English with different
purposes. For me, I plan to get in consulting industry and, if there's
a chance, to earn an MBA degree in State. Thus, English provides me an
absolutely crucial tool to communicate.
5. 地點：Our venue is at some place in NTU neighborhood. We'll inform you the
exact place when you're recruited.
6. 時間：7:00~9:30pm once on every Thursday. We have a two-week summer vacation
, so you'll start to attend to the group from Jul 29.
7. 方式：Basically, we have two hosts in charge of different topics and
questions raising. Other members should answer by randomly assigned.
Don't worry, you'll pick up soon after your first attending.
8. 範圍：A TIME article, a VOA news and one TED talk for one week. People who
would like to join us must have the capability to read, to listen to
and to digest those topics while feel comfortable to discuss them
with others.
9. 人數限制：We have five members currently while I'm called to the army and
the other member decide to study abroad in Sweden, so there are
two openings now.
10.解散條件：We've kept rolling this group for above three years and we won't
dismiss it easily only if all the members wanna quit simutaneously
11.運作規則：We won't charge. We won't count your numbers of presence. We
won't limit the topics. We're all really talkative and friendly
who welcome all kinds of people. If you are motivated, evaluate
yourself if you do meet the criteria we set first.
Requirements
1. Take a look of the topics we discussed before as below. See if
you're comfortable to discuss them as well.
2. Whenever you join, show your committment. Be well-prepared
before discussion, be present and do not quit or disappear all
in a sudden. Fundamentally, we expect you to join us in the
long term.
3. Send your self introduction and other information the board
confined in English to apply for openings. We'll assess your
motivation and qualification under your application.
