"Due to evolving requirements, increased cloud conversancy, and industry advances, the JEDI Cloud contract no longer meets its needs," the Pentagon says. Microsoft prevailed over Amazon Web Services for the deal in 2019. That doesn't mean the Defense Dept. doesn't still need cloud computing.
