[問題] Poisson一問
謝謝大大們熱情的幫忙，雖然本人自己一時糊塗搞錯方向，還是很謝謝版友們的幫助
現在本人有一題Poisson想請教各位，希望能給一下思考的方向:
SSI chips, essential to the running of a computer system, fail in
accordance with a Poisson distribution with the rate of one chip
n about five weeks. If there are two spare chips on hand, and if
a new supply will arrive in eight weeks, what is the probability
that during the next eight weeks the system will be down for a
week or more, owing to a lack of chips?
這題很明顯是用Poisson equation。但由於題目裡面又提到"new supply will arrive
in eight weeks"請問考慮此因素要如何計算呢?謝謝大家了>///<
