[問題] 邊際機率分配的範圍

Each customer who enters clothing store will purchase a suit with probability p. Given that the number of customers entering the store is Poisson distributed with mean λ. (1) Prove that the number of suits that store sells has a Poisson distribution with mean λp. 所以 X 之邊際機率分配為 f(x) = Σ f(x,n) n = Σ..... n=x 後面小弟就不再多寫了,既然是求 x 的邊際機率,那放 n 的範圍不是應該為 0 到無限大嗎?怎麼是 x 到無限大呢? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.167.199.179
