The top four seeds will be the three division winners plus the team with the
next best record. Those four will be ordered by record (and tiebreakers if
needed), so it's possible that two teams in the same division could hold the
top two spots, with the other two division winners at Nos. 3 and 4.
前四種子分別為三個分組冠軍以及此三隊外戰績最好的球隊，而這四個球隊的種子排名
則是依照他們的戰績來排序(若有平手的狀況則需要參考tiebreaker，此條件晚點會在加以
說明)，所以也有可能會出現同一分組內戰績最好的兩支球隊剛好分別為分區前兩種子的情
況。
Seeds 5 through 8 are the next four teams according to record (and tiebreakers
if needed).
而第五到第八種子就是依序排下來戰績較佳的四支球隊(若有平手狀況同樣需要參考
tiebreaker)。
First Round matchups are as follows:
‧1 vs. 8
‧4 vs. 5
‧2 vs. 7
‧3 vs. 6
這就不加以解釋了。
Conference Semifinals matchups are as follows:
‧1-8 Winner vs. 4-5 Winner
‧2-7 Winner vs. 3-6 Winner
這是分區準決賽的對戰順序。
Homecourt advantage for any series is determined by record, not seed. So, it's
possible that the 5 seed could have homecourt advantage over the 4, or that the
6 seed could have homecourt advantage over the 3.
在任何系列賽的對戰中，主場優勢是由對戰兩隊其中戰績較優者所取得，所以有可能會出
現種子順序較低卻取得主場優勢的情況。
Tiebreakers
(1) Head-to-head
(2) Division record (if the teams are in the same division)
(3) Conference record
(4) Record vs. Playoff teams, own conference
(5) Record vs. Playoff teams, other conference
(6) Net points, all games
最後是此篇的重點，tiebreaker的條件。在兩隊戰績相同時依序考慮下列的條件來決定兩
隊間的種子排名或是主場優勢的取得:
1. 兩隊之間的對戰戰績
2. 與分組內其他球隊的對戰成績(若兩球隊在同一分組的條件下)
3. 與同分區球隊的對戰成績
4. 與同分區已確定進入季後賽的隊伍之對戰成績
5. 與另一分區已確定進入季後賽的隊伍之對戰成績
6. 球隊所有比賽的淨得失分和

Two-Team Tiebreaker

teams are in the same division)
2. Better record in head-to-head games
3. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division

4. Higher winning percentage in conference games
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
6. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
7. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed
多了第一項，身為分組冠軍者自動取得較高的種子順位。
不過這7項條件只適用於當只有兩隊戰績平手時，當平手隊伍為三隊或以上時，又有另外
的規則:
Three-Team Tiebreaker

3. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same

理論上差不多，只是在考慮對戰成績時要將與所有平手隊伍的成績都考慮進去，另外不考
慮與另一分區季後賽球隊的對戰成績。
