幫先生分享資訊，希望可以幫助到想要出國工作的後進 Amazon在5/30-6/9針對台灣人提供多倫多職缺的virtural hiring event，有興趣可以提供resume給我，我再請先生轉交我的信箱：elly1288@yahoo.com 自己的一點心得分享，先生是2018年hiring event拿到的offer，amazon幫我們搬家到溫哥華，滿一年以後用L1內轉美國，2年後順利拿到綠卡 pros 個人覺得如果想到美國工作，是一條比念書便宜的路，也免去抽h1b的風險，當時朋友也有喜歡加拿大直接拿楓葉卡，拿到公民後再到美國工作的 cons 加拿大稅重消費高，實際收入不見得比台灣高多少，不過很多人喜歡環境，所以見仁見智囉總體而言對於想出國工作的工程師算是不錯的機會可以試試，不好意思他工作忙，面試的問題我可能沒辦法回答，只能分享資訊，當時先生持續刷題了一段時間，所以面試還算順利，以下是相關條件 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architectu re, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing Proficiency in, at least, one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, NodeJS, Java, or Scala. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of software development professional experience Masters degree in Computer Science, Math or Physics or a related field Experience in the advertising or search industries Experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms Experience building software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code rev iews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Experience in databases, analytics, big data systems or business intelligence products Experience with building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distr ibuted systems. 疫情前活動面試官會專門飛到亞洲面試，疫情後暫停了一段時間，而且之前主要是中國為主，所以這次先生收到HR希望介紹台灣人的消息，我就很高興來po ptt了XD
