Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy our infrastructure and fine tune performance.
- Provide subject matter expertise on scaling our infrastructure and
applications
- Design system architecture spanning multiple cloud based data centres
- Perform stress tests and chaos tests, discover bottlenecks and optimise
performance
- Automate and improve SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) Being on call to
respond to incidents
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in building financial applications for derivatives/equities
exchange is a must, you must be familiar with protocols such as FIX, ITCH,
OUCH
- Expertise in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Consul
- Strong background in performance tuning and scaling applications
- Plus if you have battle tested knowledge of stateful applications (eg.
MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ)
- Familiar with logging, monitoring, CI/CD toolkits (eg. New Relic, Data Dog,
EFK)
- Fluent with a programming language (eg. Java, Javascript, Rust, Golang)
- Proficient in IAC tools (eg. Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience in working with cloud environments (we use AWS)
- Solid understanding of the distributed systems, OSI model and network
protocols
- Working knowledge of cryptography primitives (eg. hashes, encryption)
- Knowledge of compliance standards is an advantage (eg. NIST, PCI/DSS, GDRP,
ISO27001)
- Determination to automate using existing and new tools
