In this role, you will work with some experienced system engineers to build a stable, efficient, and rich-function Linux system to host our OpenStack platform. The position requires strong debugging, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a deep knowledge of the Linux system. ★ Key responsibilities ◎ Contribute to Release Engineering tooling to deliver required functionality ◎ Design automated test plans ◎ Participate in team discussions to improve process, tools, and documentation within the system engineering team. ★ Required skills ◎ Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent ◎ Expert knowledge of git ◎ 5 years of software development experience in Python or C/C++ ◎ Technical expertise of the Linux operating system ◎ Linux Engineering (Centos, Fedora) ◎ Experience with continuous integration (CI) and delivery ◎ Understanding of how open source and free software communities work ◎ Familiarity with Linux containers, Docker, or Kubernetes is an advantage ◎ Technical background with tools such as Jira, Koji, Jenkins is a big advantage ◎ Rabbitmq development experience is a plus ◎ Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation 【Kernel Engineer (block layer) 】 ★ Job description The Easystack Engineering team is looking for a Linux Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our OpenStack cloud infrastructure.
