As for the status on Allen Iverson, King remains busy on the phone but does
not feel obligated to make a blockbuster move.
“Allen and I had a great conversation after the season,” King said. “So we
’re not in the mode where we feel that we have to do something.
“We talked about everything. We talked about where we stand and his
thoughts. He understands, and I’ve talked to [Iverson’s agent] Leon [Rose]
numerous times throughout the summer.”
King 還沒要急著丟 AI ，因此大家還是可以保持鎮定 (如果兩人有過意見交換，
應該不會是太壞的結果，畢竟這支球隊老實說老大還是 A.I. )。
With Wednesday marking the first day that teams can officially sign players,
King is hoping that the Sixers will retain their restricted free agents.
“We’re close with some of our own free agents,” King said. “Hopefully, we
will have that done by Thursday.”
有限制的自由球員的部份可望在星期四有初步結果。
