Large Bilingual Mandarin/English large home daycare located in Sunnyvale. We a
re looking for enthusiastic infant / toddler teachers to work with young child
ren ages from 6 weeks to 4 years old.
Responsibilities and Duties
The responsibilities will include but is not limited to the following:
Assist in daily preparation of classrooms
Prepare classroom activities and curriculum according to the Lead Teacher’s d
irection
Supervise classroom as directed by the Lead Teacher
Assist with maintenance of the classroom inventory.
Assist in the supervision of the playground and lunchtime.
Facilitate children with any needs including but not limited to changing diape
rs, feeding, preparing snacks/meals
Maintain clean environment
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification:
ECE units or AA/AS/ BA/ BS degree in early childhood education or relate field
preferred.
Prior experience working with children or in a childcare setting
TB Test, MMR, DTAP, flu vaccine required
First Aid/CPR certification required
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent Mandarin and English preferred
Understanding Play-based curriculum and is able to build positive relationship
with parents.
Understanding the value of team work and the importance of healthy community b

Physical ability to pick up (50lb) children to change diaper
**All applicants must be 18 years or older, pass a Health screening, TB and fi
ngerprint clearance (Department of Justice, FBI, Child Abuse Index)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.65 to $17.00 /hour
