[心得] 分享我的英文自傳
自從打算回台找工作後就常關注salary板。
感謝板上分享的各種經驗和工作心得,讓我
回台後能很順利找到自己想做的工作。
一直以來都只是在板上當個潛水員,現在想
分享一下我自己的Cover letter當作經驗分
享。Cover letter有去學校的career center
請他們給我建議並經過多次修改,我想應該會
有參考價值。

I have been passionate about finding insights in data and using
statistical analysis to uncover the true story behind the numbers.
I am writing to apply for the Statistician position where I can
make a positive contribution to your team.
I can offer you advanced level of SAS programming skills, three
years of experience in data analyzing, excellent consulting skills,
a keen mind for problem identification and problem solving, and a
solid background in both Statistics and Economics, all of which
should make me an ideal candidate for this position.
As a graduate student at ____, I excelled in all my classes; this
led to an opportunity to be a statistical consultant. My consulting
work involved application of statistical analysis proposing, data
mining, hypothesis testing and statistical assessment. The experience
of being a statistical consultant has strengthened my ability to work
with people from different fields, and has enhanced my analysis skills
by practicing multiple statistical software.
The experience at _________ enables me to utilize statistical and
consulting skills to assist in the foundational development of a
__________ for real time data evaluation. By being intimately involved
in every aspect of data programming, from data mining to data diagnosis,
I have learned what it takes to be a good SAS programmer.
What is not clearly expressed in my resume is that I am a bright,
energetic and hard working person. I am sure that it would be worthwhile
for us to meet. I look forward to speaking with you about this employment
