Lazio midfielder Valon Behrami is set to be sidelined for three months
after being told that he requires surgery.
The 21-year-old has been working hard to recover from a thigh problem
he sustained while with Switzerland at the World Cup and
was hoping to be ready for the start of the season.
However, the Lazio medical staff are unhappy with his rate of recovery
and have opted for surgery which is imminent.
Sources from the capital suggest that the wide midfielder
will now not be at the disposal of Coach Delio Rossi
until the end of November.

Lazio have just six days to buy a possible replacement and
Milan's Pasquale Foggia could be drafted in.
