Stefano Fiore maintains the departure of Dejan Stankovic has freed up
him to perform at the highest level with Lazio.
Fiore堅持Stankovic的離去解放了他在Lazio的位置，
讓他在Lazio的表現能達到最高的水平。
“I can only thank Stankovic,” joked the midfielder. “Now that I am
able to cut in to the centre a lot more it really has made a difference
to my play.”
Fiore開玩笑地說：「我只能謝謝Stankovic，
現在我能更多的向中路切入，這的確讓我的發揮有所不同，」
The former Udinese man had been pushed out wide to accommodate Stankovic,
but since his January switch to Inter the tactical outlook has been
transformed.
為了在陣容中納入Stankovic，Fiore的位置被嚴重的壓縮了，
但是自從一月份Stankovic轉會Inter之後，戰術上於是有所轉型了。
“This always was my favoured position on the field and the reasons
behind the change aren’t important to me. What matters is that now
I feel more at ease to do my best for the whole team.”
Fiore說：「這一直是我在賽場上最喜歡的位置，
但是現在這位置上的轉變對我來說已經不重要了，重要的是我被釋放了，
也因此能為全隊貢獻我最好的表現。」
Many pundits believed that Lazio would struggle following the departure
of their Serb star, but the side has notched up three wins on the trot
including a Coppa Italia mauling of Milan.
許多專家認為Lazio會在他們的賽黑球星Stankovic離去後有一番掙扎，
沒想到Lazio就此迎來了三連勝，包括在義大利盃痛擊了Milan。
“We are going through a fantastic period of form and the whole team
is on fire,” added Fiore. “Finally we are seeing the kind of Lazio
performance that wowed the crowds last season.”
Fiore補充說：「我們正經歷一段美妙的時期，而且全隊都著火啦XD，
最後我們看見了那個上賽季讓人們驚嘆的Lazio。」
Giovanni Trapattoni will no doubt be keeping a close eye on developments,
as Fiore will be expecting a call for the Feb 18 friendly against the
Czech Republic.
Trapattoni無疑將會繼續留意Lazio接下來的進展，
Fiore也被預料將會獲得徵召進入二月十八日對捷克的友誼賽。
