Lazio hopes to give Stankovic and Stam new deals

02/17/2003. Lazio chief executive Luca Baraldi says the club hopes to extend
the contracts of Dejan Stankovic and Jaap Stam despite the dire financial
straits they currently find themselves in.
"Stankovic and Stam are at the moment Lazio players," he was quoted as saying
in Tuttosport."If we find a club situation that is more stable than we have
now then the first purchases for the new season could actually be us
confirming them."
