Tim Lincecum, for instance, took the loss and fell to 5-6 overall, but he did
so while posting his first quality start of the month and showed signs that
he's started to figure out the mechanical issues -- no, it was most definitely
not all mental, gang -- that turned his ERA over the previous three June starts
into something you might see in a Ponzi scheme return-rate promise (9.39).

The good news was that the Franchise, pitching for the first time as a
27-year-old, struck out seven and held the A's to two earned runs over six
innings.

over Snake River Canyon to assume it was in part because he's still waiting
for the GPS that guides his heater to come back from the shop.

Another positive to come out of the postgame skull session with Lincecum was
the burning of the tired he-misses-Buster-Posey and he-can't-work-with-Eli-
Whiteside crutches that some people are offering the two-time Cy.

to get all Insidery, but he hasn't been getting his upper torso over his legs,
which means his finely tuned core and Ryan-esque leg drive haven't been
providing the power and synchronicity he relies on, and that seems to have
shortened his giraffe-like stride.

Hall.

But Friday suggested he's already started the process, and that's probably

我個人倒是覺得投球動作走樣跟捕手換人是絕對有相當因果關係
Bochy也說過，Timmy的球是很不好接的
有沒有可能是因為Timmy因為怕捕手接不到球
下意識改變了出手的角度
結果連鎖反應導致整個投球機制走鐘
之前看過另外一位球評Ann Killon提到去年8月的的大低潮
無巧不巧也是發生在摸大哥被交易到遊騎兵
Posey開始當主戰捕手之後的磨合期
當然 也可以說其他投手一樣是Whiteside跟Stewart在蹲捕
為什麼唯獨Timmy表現的落差會這麼大
大概也只能解釋成他需要比別人更長的時間跟捕手培養默契才能進入狀況
唯一慶幸的是今年這個問題提早發生就能提早解決
要是林爸把Timmy的投球機制修好應該就沒有甚麼好擔心了

啊！這裡的heater應該是指快速球沒錯，第一次看到這個說法，受教了！

剛才看到Mercury News球評Carl Steward的建議覺得相當有創意而且也不無道理
(前略)
Sounds crazy, but since Lincecum often consults his dad Chris when things get
out of whack, I wonder if he might consider giving Buster a call at some point,
too. Posey’s not doing anything right now, he’s surely watching Lincecum
struggle on TV from his couch, and probably has some ideas about what’s going
on. It might do both of their psyches some good to have a conversation. Posey
could feel useful, and Lincecum might get a tip or two from Buster that could
help him iron things out.
