[外電] Jerebko認為Harden那個惡犯不是故意的

BOSTON -- Boston Celtics stretch big man Jonas Jerebko did not hold any hard
feelings toward James Harden after taking a flagrant foul Wednesday night
from the Houston Rockets star.
Jerebko required four stitches near his lip after Boston's 120-109 win,
according to Celtics PR, but did not believe Harden meant to hit him with the
fourth-quarter forearm.
"I got hit in the face," Jerebko said. "But it wasn't intentional or
anything."
Harden struck Jerebko with an elbow while trying to drive to the hoop midway
through the fourth quarter. The contact came as Harden tried to spin away
from two other Boston defenders. After falling to the floor with blood
gushing from his face.
"It didn't hurt," he said. "It was just bleeding so I had to go (get it
bandaged)."
The way he played in just his third start of the season, Jerebko likely would
have closed out the game. Over 21 minutes, he recorded seven points, seven
rebounds, a team-high plus-11, and did not miss any of his three field goal
attempts. His ability to slide his feet at that size is critical against the
Rockets offense, and, moments before taking the elbow, Jerebko made a great
drive and kick for an open Isaiah Thomas triple.
"He's always ready to do his job," said teammate Jae Crowder, who pitched in
23 points. "I can say that about him. He's a true professional and once he
gets the nod at a starting position he knows exactly what he's in there to
do. It helps us a lot."
"Energy. For sure he's giving us energy," Crowder added. "Of course he can
make shots. We know that. He can stretch the floor but we just needed energy
and he gave us all that and some more tonight."
