The Rockets aren't good enough as they're configured, so general manager Daryl Morey is working furiously to change the configuration. 火箭隊本季不如大家預期的出色, 所以Morey沒日沒夜的在尋求交易. His team needs talent, size, defense and rebounding. Carmelo Anthony appears to be at the top of his wish list, and Morey would trade for him without any guarantee of signing him to a long-term contract. 這支球隊需要天分, 身材, 防守, 籃板球. This offseason, for the first time since Morey became GM four years ago, he won't be limited by salaries or injuries. Morey would prefer to do something now, and that brings us to the rest of what has gone wrong. He ran the numbers the other day and came up with this statistic: The Rockets' starting lineup is the NBA's fourth-best in point differential. Brooks wasn't happy that Lowry got a longtime contract last summer and he didn't. Not seizing the moment It would be unfair to blame everything that has gone wrong on Brooks. Just as troubling is that no young player - not Jordan Hill, not Chase Budinger - has taken advantage of his opportunity. 把所有過錯都推到AB身上並不公平. 年輕球員如J.Hill, Budinger也都沒能好好發揮. If you're looking for reasons to be optimistic, there are plenty. First, there's Alexander. He has money to spend and is willing to spend it.
