I just watched the Yao video. His legs look much smaller,
which is expected but I'm a little shock to see Yao's upper body looks much
weaker too.
His arms lost most of its m'uscle. Is it the strategy of the Rockets to get
Yao to lose his muscles since muscle weighs more than fat?
I'm not sure if a weak Yao can bang with the big men in the NBA.
(I don't agree that he is weaker in the upper body. That is not a strategy of

A:我不認為他的上半身有變虛弱. 你所提到的也不會是球隊的策略.
(Fortunately, Yao has not talked about retiring since the last offering.

from Tapei to demonstrate that there really is not an issue about if he will
recover, but whether he will stay that way.)
How is his rehab coming along? Was he frustrated about his recovery rate?
Will he play in China in pre-season?
Who do you think will win the final roster spot?
(His rehab is progressing well. He is on schedule and was not frustrated by
the recovery rate,
as explained in the previous blog post. I don't know who will make the team,
but Alexander Johnson, Mike Harris and Ishmael Smith will likely compete for

A:他恢復的很好. 都在預期的時程表內.
我不知道誰會擠進名單, 不過看來A.Johnson, M.Harris, I.Smith這三人會競爭最後的
位置.

good to see you back.Now i would like to no what do you think about THE
ROCKETS against THE LAKERS.
I think we can beat them,if YAO is ok the whole season,We can put BRAD MILLER
over to the powerfoward spot,
to match up with PAUL GASOL, because SCOLA is to small for him.BUT SCOLA can
match up with ODUM well.
I think ARIZA and ARTEST will draw even. BUT BROOKS will have his way with
STEVE BLAKE or FISHER.
AND if KEVIN MARTIN plays his game, and make KOBE, work on defense,
he will not be able to sag off like he did on BOSTON because KEVIN MARTIN can
shoot very well,
which will slow his butt down.NOW YAO usely gets the better of BYUM even at
half is best
he is still better than BYUM. AND our bench is way better than their bench is.
SO can you take the time to give me your feed back about this please?
I have wrote to you before but you never give me a answer to my question?
SO i will be looking for your reply. L.A.'S biggest ROCKETS fan

如果姚明萬事順利, 我們可以把大米丟上四號位來對抗Gasol, 因為Scola個子太小了.
不過Scola可以拿去對付Odom, 我認為Ariza可以跟Artest抵銷, 小AB可以打爆
Fisher/Blake,
如果馬丁大夫狀況不錯, 也會讓Kobe在防守上消耗一些.
就算姚明只恢復一半他也能打敗Bynum, 而且我們的板凳球員也比較好.
你可以分析一下這樣的情況嗎? 我之前有寫過信給你不過就沒有得到回音.

A:如果雙方都保持健康狀態, 我還是認為湖人隊過強了.
大米可以幫上不少忙, 但是我不認為他守的住Gasol.
Jonathan...any more trade rumblings? Our roster is over-loaded at the 3 and 4.
There seem to be more rumors about Rudy Fernandez.
Do you think the ROX are interested in putting anything together for one more
roster move?
(It would have to be something pretty significant at this point.
I don't think they are looking for a smaller move involving players that
would not play much.
Fernandez falls somewhere in the middle of that, but is not a likely trade

When will Yao start playing basketball 1 on one vs another player 6'8 or
taller?
Has Yao practice his post moves lately? I usually don't want Yao to play
international bb but this year
I think it would have been a good idea so Yao can get into bb shape.
Oddly this is the year he doesn't play when it is actually beneficial imo.
(He has been going through his usual low-post drills.
I don't know when he will work against a 7-footer,
but he is due back in Houston next week. -- Jonathan)

A:他都有在練習的. 我不知道什麼時候他會開始跟真正的長人對抗練習, 不過他下禮拜就
會回休士頓了.
You're right, it is disappointing that Davey Stern and the NBA are playing
favorites with certain teams.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
(It's not so much that they are playing favorites.
The networks of course want more attractive matchups and the NBA is not wrong
to oblige.

it's great the rockets are opening against the Lakers. who decide these big
game matchups?
is it the folks at TNT or ESPN? or is it the staff at the NBA? do fans have
any say in those decision?
(Fans have no say. The networks work with the league. Basically, the networks
say what they would want for some dates,
what they might like for others, and the NBA tries to oblige. They get more
general for the bulk of the season,
more specific on the special occasions. -- Jonathan)

A:球迷是沒有權力的. 網路會跟聯盟有溝通過.
媒體會說他們在某些特定的日子希望看到怎樣的球賽, NBA會盡量配合他們. 因為這樣
能賺更多錢.

sorry but I`m Not a Yao fan because he has the same isseus as Tracy but he
never gets Critisized for it..

I mean if he replacec Vince cater Magic would be upgraded now if he joins

why not any team offering him the starting spot he is taking less money.
(The reasons have been obvious for several years.
He does not play hard, does not play defense, does not move well, is
incredibly self-centered,
does not practice hard and shows no recognition that he is not the player he
once was.
And by the way, Yao shares none of that other than the injury and mobility
issues.
Having delusional fans might help a team sell tickets and might help him get
another shot,
but that only goes so far. His auditions with the Clippers and Bulls have not
led to job offers,
though a non-or partially-guaranteed contract from Chicago is hopefully still

A:原因很明顯, 他並沒有全心全力在打球, 並沒有打出應有的防守, 自我中心,
練球也沒有很努力, 並不自覺到他自己已非當年的得分王.
姚明在受傷以及其他問題上處理的很好.
TMac或許還是有很多的球迷, 會幫助球隊的票房, 但是也僅此而已.
這樣還不夠吸引快艇與公牛隊跟他簽約. 芝加哥提供的不保障合約或許還會有希望.
That's correct. The road to NBA Finals passes thru' LA.
If the Rockets got C Bosh or even T Chandler to pair with Yao, they may have
a chance.
K Martin, S Battier and T Ariza are still a tad below Kobe, Artest and Barnes
at the perimeter.
Do you think the Magic will be interested in swapping R Lewis for J Jeffries?
R Lewis might be able to make up the gap.
(Money would not match and I have not seen an indication that the Magic would
be that desperate
to move Lewis' contract or could not do much better if they were. -- Jonathan)

What do you think Patrick Patterson's role on the team will be this year and
how many minutes do you see him getting per night?
(It would appear that he will initially be one spot outside the rotation.
That might change as the season progresses, but at least initially,

不過隨著賽季的進行這是有可能改變的, 但是在短期內我不認為他會上場.
