game- last night Rockets won, chase bud continues to impress
m- he's been great, he's done everything we thought he could don the upside,
none of the downside.

m- he's a top center in Europe, he's tall, skilled offensively, a winner, like
Scola, maybe not as good, he actually beat Scola for euro championships a few
times. we think he’ll work well in an up tempo system. he's probably going to
be a little below avg. def.

g- Wafer?
m- If we can get him at the right situation for us, I think we'll do it,
whether or not that’ll match up with what von's looking for, we'll see.

g- Taylor for wing?
m- There is going to be one wing spot open. that job will be won in training
camp.
Jermaine is good, chase is a "revelation," James white comes in good
defensively but offensively behind the others.
m- Joey’s finally doing what we drafted him. he should have known since the
rockets drafted him he'd be injured at some point. he's leading the league in
rebounding. we need to cut out mental errors. two turnovers a game that he'll
need to cut out if he wants to be a rotation player in the NBA.

DM: There is 1 wing rotation spot available on the roster and it would probably
be one of White, Budinger, JT. It would be one at training camp. JT has a more
complete game than Wafer but probably less explosive. Chase is very skilled
offensively; very good with PnR, moves well w/o the ball, but probably starts
off weak defensively like Jermaine. James White is very good with his
experience and athleticism but not as good offensively.
(輪替缺一個會從小白+布丁狗+ JT 之中三選一，JT的complete game能力較好，可是
爆發力不如Wafer，布丁狗進攻技巧好，很會打檔拆，流動球合理，可是防守是弱點，
小白有經驗和熱情，但侵略性不夠)

m- rotation of several guys. Dave, Luis, Carl. Cook/Dorsey might crack
rotation...
g- small rotation... guys under 6 10... Deke is for sure done?
m- he's done.

g- any other moves?
m- I think we're going to try to upgrade through trades for a while here, we're
leaving a roster spot open. may trade in late summer...

g- you sound like you've got a deal that is eminent?
m- no, the reality is we're over the luxury tax... no exciting players left to
go after... we'll try to upgrade through trade... hopefully get McGrady back in
shape... the two years ago McGrady... we feel like we can be very competitive.
we're going to be battling to make the playoffs in a very tough west.

g- Ariza... asked to do Battier style offense; do you have enough diversity
from the 2, 3 positions? are they diverse enough to have them on the court

m- Trevor has potential to improve, game can expand... Shane and Trevor are
going to be two of the guys in the rotation... Brooks sliding to 2... one of
the newer guys winning minutes...

g- Ariza, he can slash and finish, run, you clearly with the current players
you have, with no Yao... it looks like this offense is finally going to be
Rick's true offense with an up tempo.
m- we're either going to play up-tempo or we're not going to win many games. we
want good defense... want in top 5... chuck anchors that...

at once... took a picture.
m- They made him shut the camera down. The desk wasn't very positive.
