Landry hobbling
Rockets forward Carl Landry had hoped to be back from his sprained right
ankle by Thursday, but he was struggling through on-court tests. Rockets
athletic trainer Keith Jones said he hoped Landry and Luther Head will be
ready for Saturday’s game in Chicago.
“It’s tough,” Landry said. “I want to be out there playing. Nobody wants
to sit out the games. You have to wait until you’re healthy, at least close
to 100 percent. You get out there too early you have a chance of having
a setback.
“It’s still swollen a little bit, it’s still painful some moves, some
drills. I’m not as comfortable as I was before the injury. I just went through
a little pain. Every day I wake up in the morning and think, OK, I think
I can go today. I’m getting close, getting closer. But not yet.”
卡爾蘭德裡本希望能在周四（美國時間）復出比賽，但是他在訓練場上做了一些測試
性的動作後仍然感到有一些疼痛，火箭隊訓練師瓊斯說，他估計蘭德裡和海德能在周
六（美國時間）對公牛的比賽中復出。
這段時間很難熬，蘭德裡說。我想趕快離開板凳去球場上拼殺，沒有人想做比賽的旁
觀者，但是我深知，只有在我接近100%痊癒的時候才能復出，我必須謹慎，否則弄不
好又會再次受傷。
卡爾說，右腳踝還是有一點腫，在我做移動和一些測試動作時還是有些疼，我還沒有
達到受傷前的身體狀況。
每天當我醒來的時候，我都想，噢，今天我應該可以復出了。我已經離復的日期出非
常近了，但還不是現在！
