However, his scoring is down and he's shooting the worst FG% of his career. Adelman has Ming in position to take way too many outside shots which has lowered his shooting percentage. He must find a way to pick his play up with McGrady hobbled. 姚明本季的籃板和上場時間都小幅增加，但是得分下降，而且命中率是生涯最低。 Adelman讓姚明幹太多外線了，所以才會降低命中率。姚明需要在T-mac掰咖時找到讓自己更強大的打法。 Chuck Hayes- B : Chuck is basically doing what is asked of him. He is averaging .28 rebounds per minute which is about equal to Yao's numbers (NBA teams care about per minute production, not per 48 minute production). Hayes is a solid defender and doesn't turn it over much. Despite a couple of bad games, he's still steady around the basket when it comes to finishing. 海爺很盡自己的本分。平均每分鐘抓下0.28個籃板，這數據和姚明差不多。（NBA的球隊們比較在意每分鐘的數據，而不是每48分鐘。） Shane Battier- C : Since Battier isn't asked to carry the load scoring-wise, it is imperative that he defends, takes care of the ball and hits open 3s. His shooting percentage from the field is lower than at any point during his career. Where are the easy baskets on the back-cuts? His FT% is down right now, his turnovers are up (though not killing the Rockets) and his PFs per game are up. 巴爺要做的就是防守和空檔時幹進三分球。巴爺今年的投籃命中率也是生涯新低，平均失誤次數也上升了（雖然不至於讓火箭挫賽），平均犯規次數也增加。 Tracy McGrady- C : I know most people want me to give him a lower grade, but his numbers are almost identical to last year's with the exception of assists per game which are down by 1.4 from last year. McGrady just isn't durable - never has been and never will be. What is strange is that he is averaging 9 ppg more on the road than at home and he seems to attack the basket better on the road as opposed to home where he settles for too many jump shots. When the two stars of your team get grades of "C" and "B-", you are in for a tough year. McGrady hasn't elevated his game nearly enough when his team has needed it this year and he looks like his love for the game is hit or miss from game to game. McGrady would function much better if he had some true slashers in this offense to pass to. 很多人都覺得T-mac的分數應該要打低一點，不過踢妹的數據和去年幾乎一樣，除了每場助攻次數下降了1.4次。奇怪的是，T-mac在客場平均每場比在主場多得了9分，在客場時 T-mac往籃下突破的比主場還好，而在主場反而太多跳投。當你球隊中的兩名主將只拿到 C和B+時，這一定是辛苦的一年。 Rafer Alston- C+ : While his 3 pt shooting is only 29%, he has done a decent job of trying to push the ball up the court. His TO/Assist ratio is almost 3:1 and he is one of the only players who even seems to fit into Adelman's system (if it were run right). Alston's minutes are down this year as they should be. He's a good complimentary point guard who has to start because the Rockets don't have anyone better, but his value is obvious when you watch the pathetic efforts of the PGs who have tried to replace him when he's been out. 今年三分球命中率只有29%，他的助攻/失誤比將近3:1，他看起來似乎是唯一一個融入 Adelman體系的人。Alston的上場時間比去年少，他是火箭目前最適合先發的控球後衛，因為沒有更好的了(囧)。但很明顯的是Alston有他的價值，不信請看當Alston缺賽時，其他替補先發的控球後衛們打的有多慘... Luis Scola- A- : The only thing I would like to see Scola do a better job of is knocking down the mid-range jumper. He runs the court well and he's grabbing .26 rebounds per minute while hitting the offensive boards and giving the Rockets extra possessions. Scola's ability to step over and play center when Yao is out can really benefit the Rockets. Scola唯一需要做的更好的就是增加中距離跳投。他在場上的走位不錯，平均每分鐘抓下0.26個籃板。對火箭很有幫助的是，Scola還能擔任姚明的替補。 Bonzi Wells- C- : This grade could be lower, but he's picked up his game in December as opposed to his atrocious November. Bonzi's FG% has got to be higher considering where most of his shot come from. Wells is good about getting to the FT line but terrible at converting at only 59.8%. Bonzi's grade would be a little higher if he didn't give back so many points on the defensive end. 本來應該給Bonzi更低分的，不過跟11月比起來，Bonzi在12月提升了自己的數據。 Bonzi的命中率應該要高一點，因為他的出手大部分是低位單打。Wells很會賺罰球，但是命中率實在是太鳥了，只有59.8%。（不小心發現Hayes目前為止只有27.3%）如果防守能好一點的話，Bonzi的分數也許會上升一點。 Luther Head- B- : Luther's grade is on the rise since he's started shooting the ball better from the 3 pt line which is what he's asked to do. Now that he is getting more minutes, he's starting to get into a groove. Head still needs to get better at shooting off the dribble and he has a hard time guarding PGs or SGs because he's a tweener, but he's started playing much better since he got into the rotation full time. 小頭的分數自從三分球越來越準之後，分數就持續在上升中，而這也是他應該做的。現在他上場的時間越來越多，慢慢走上自己的軌道。小頭外線仍需要加強，他還得辛苦的防守控球後衛或得分後衛，因為他不像PG也不像SG。不過他已經比剛進入rotation 的時候好很多了。 Mike James- D- : What a disappointment. James figured to be a good fit for the Rockets, but instead he hasn't been able to finish in the paint, hasn't been able to hit open 3s and hasn't been good with the ball in his hands or moving without the ball. I still think James has something left, but something tells me he isn't going to be too excited to sit on the bench and not get any minutes. 真令人失望。 Steve Francis- D- : Let's see Steve came into camp out of shape, didn't put in the extra work to get back into shape (according to Rocket insiders), is shooting career lows from the floor, from 3 and from the FT line and has nagging injuries. To be fair, Francis has only played in 10 games so far, but he looks like his confidence is shot and looks very unhappy to be riding the bench. 小法今年命中率、三分球命中率、罰球命中率都是生涯新低。公平來說，他也只打了十場比賽，但他看起來沒啥自信，而且在板凳上很不高興。 Aaron Brooks - Inc. Carl Landry - Inc. Dikembe Mutombo - Inc. Kirk Snyder - Inc. Rick Adelman- D: I've been willing to give him some time to try and get his offense implemented, but it is obvious that it simply isn't happening at an acceptable pace. The scary thing to me is that this Rocket team is prone to prolonged stretches of ineffectiveness on both ends of the court and Adelman hasn't been able to get his two superstars to play at a high level. The question has to be whether or not this team is responding to Adelman as their head coach. The problems with the Rockets go much deeper than just "getting used to the offense".
